Volleyball
Corning Christian Academy offers both girl's and boy's volleyball teams. The basketball season starts in March with preseason games and practices, with the season closing in May.
Students joining the Volleyball team will experience first hand the importance and benefits of working on a team. Additionally, our coaches strive to incorporate and teach Christian principles throughout practices and games.
Our school also welcomes homeschoolers who are looking to play a sport to join our team.

Meet the Girl's Coach
Mrs. Stacy Thomas
This is Mrs. Thomas's third year coaching girl's volleyball. She has loved the sport from the first year she played in seventh grade. She continued playing for her high school team and on several recreational leagues in her college and adult years.
During volleyball season, the focus is on basic skills, but also learning rotations and advanced skills depending on the level of the players. Time is dedicated to learning to work together as a team, develop Godly sportsmanship skills, celebrate wins, and learn from losses. Her aim is to make this sport into a time of growing the players skill set while having fun together.

Meet the Boy's Coach
Mrs. Hobson is an alumna of CCA and a member of the first ever graduating class. She returned after college and began teaching at the school in 1994.
Mrs. Hobson's experience playing Volleyball in high school, in college and in adult leagues, has well prepared her to be an effective coach for the past 12 years.
Her players will likely hear her say, "Do it with passion, or not at all."
